First post of 2007. And only 2 weeks in.

Well, this piece is moving slow too. Maybe I am too distracted when I work, and maybe I just need to get better at choosing subjects and layouts that can hold my interest for the necessary amount of time, but I'm getting bored with this one. I definitely should have thought up a background in the early stages. None the less, I'll take another stab at that later...

Just finished my christmas card. It was seriously looking like I wouldn't get to making one this year, but I managed to pull it off in less time than usual. I should do this simple stuff more often...

Reading one member on the drawing board's thread, who's been pulling off a full layout sketch of good ole' Tomb Raider Lara Croft every day for the past week has been the best part of my morning, coming in to work. Except today, when he missed his first day since he started. He'd inspired me to do up a Larra cketch of my own. I'm debating whether or not to post it. Or ink it.

After some suggestions, I fixed the overall colours and got around to doing the hair. I like the blue I guess...
